1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ShiftPe's website, mobile applications, and related services (“Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Additional terms may apply to specific features and will be presented where relevant.
2. What ShiftPe does
ShiftPe is designed to help Workers discover work opportunities and help Task Providers publish tasks or shifts and manage responses. Unless a separate written agreement or a clearly described Platform feature states otherwise, ShiftPe provides a technology connection service and is not a party to the work agreement between a Worker and a Task Provider. The actual relationship between users depends on their arrangement and applicable law.
3. Eligibility and account information
You must be legally capable of entering into the relevant agreement and meet any age or eligibility requirements applicable to the service and task. You agree to provide accurate, current information, keep your profile reasonably up to date, and use only an account you are authorized to use. Google sign-in or another authentication method does not remove your responsibility for activity under your account.
4. Worker and Task Provider responsibilities
Workers should review task details, location, timing, required skills, compensation, and safety considerations before applying or accepting work. Task Providers must publish lawful, accurate, non-misleading task details and communicate material changes promptly. Both sides should agree on the task scope, working hours, payment amount and method, cancellation expectations, expenses, and any relevant safety requirements before work begins.
5. Work arrangements, employment, and compliance
Users are responsible for determining and complying with the laws and obligations that apply to their arrangement, including applicable employment, wage, tax, licensing, workplace safety, anti-discrimination, and local requirements. Use of ShiftPe alone does not establish that a Worker is an employee, independent contractor, agent, or partner of ShiftPe. Nothing in these Terms overrides a legal classification or right that applies under mandatory law.
6. Payments, cancellations, and disputes
Unless the Platform explicitly provides and describes an integrated payment feature, users arrange payment directly with one another. ShiftPe does not promise that a Task Provider will pay, that a Worker will complete a task, or that a user will recover money from another user. Users should retain their own records of agreed work and payments. If ShiftPe later offers payment, cancellation, refund, or dispute-resolution features, the terms shown for those features will also apply. Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Safety and user conduct
Users must treat one another respectfully and must not use the Platform for harassment, threats, violence, discrimination, exploitation, fraud, scams, unlawful work, or unsafe or misleading postings. Do not request or share another person's sensitive information without a lawful basis and appropriate permission. Do not use the Platform to facilitate illegal activity, evade legal obligations, or put another person at unreasonable risk. Stop an interaction and contact appropriate emergency services if there is immediate danger.
8. Prohibited use and platform integrity
You must not impersonate another person, create fraudulent profiles or postings, manipulate reviews or ratings, scrape or harvest personal data without authorization, interfere with Platform security, upload malware, reverse engineer the service except where law permits, or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization. You must not misuse another user's contact details or send spam, threats, or unsolicited commercial messages.
9. User content and permission to operate the service
You retain any rights you have in content you submit, subject to rights others may have. You give ShiftPe permission to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Platform and make the features you use available. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content. ShiftPe may remove content that reasonably appears unlawful, harmful, misleading, or in breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
10. Ratings, matching, and information accuracy
Any matching, ranking, recommendation, rating, or profile information is provided to assist users and may be incomplete or imperfect. Unless expressly stated, a match score or recommendation is not a guarantee of suitability, trustworthiness, safety, employment, payment, or task completion. Users should exercise their own judgment and verify important details before entering an arrangement.
11. Suspension, restriction, and termination
ShiftPe may investigate reports and restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, address suspected fraud or security risks, enforce these Terms, maintain the Platform, or comply with law. Where appropriate and legally required, ShiftPe will provide notice or a way to seek review. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion through shiftpe.in/delete. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law.
12. Availability, changes, and third-party services
Features may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued as the Platform evolves. ShiftPe will take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and applicable law, but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Platform may rely on third-party services, including authentication, hosting, notifications, or mapping services; those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an “as available” basis, and ShiftPe does not guarantee user conduct, the accuracy of every user submission, the suitability or safety of a task, or performance of agreements between users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftPe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from user-to-user arrangements or temporary service unavailability. This section does not exclude or limit liability, remedies, or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful conduct, your content, or your material breach of these Terms. Any obligation to reimburse ShiftPe will apply only to the extent the relevant loss is legally attributable to your conduct and the obligation is enforceable under applicable law.
15. Privacy and account deletion
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled and how to contact ShiftPe about privacy concerns. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, visit shiftpe.in/delete. A request may require account ownership verification, and certain records may be retained where required or permitted by law. Submitting the form does not itself delete data immediately.

For safety or conduct concerns, consult the Compliance & Legal page. For account, service, or privacy questions, use the contact information published on the website. Before launch, ShiftPe must replace all example contact details with monitored, verified addresses and publish any legally required business and grievance information.
17. Governing law and general provisions
These Terms should be finalized with legal counsel to specify the appropriate governing law, dispute forum, and any mandatory consumer or statutory protections applicable to ShiftPe and its users in India. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to the extent legally permitted. Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not necessarily waive the right to enforce it later.
18. Updates to these Terms
ShiftPe may update these Terms as the Platform, features, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision date. Where notice or consent is required by law, ShiftPe will follow the applicable process. Continued use after an update will have the effect permitted by applicable law.
