1. About ShiftPe
ShiftPe is an online platform intended to help workers discover work opportunities and enable task providers to publish tasks and connect with workers. Except where expressly stated in a separate written agreement, ShiftPe does not automatically become the employer of either party or a party to every agreement between users.
2. Accounts and accurate information
Users must provide accurate, current information, protect their account credentials, and report suspected unauthorized access. Impersonation, fraudulent information, misuse of personal data, and unlawful activity are prohibited.
3. User conduct and safety
Users must communicate respectfully and comply with applicable law. Harassment, threats, intimidation, discrimination, violence, stalking, fraud, scams, unlawful tasks, and sharing another person's private information without proper authority are prohibited. Users should assess task details, working conditions, location, and personal safety before accepting a task.
4. Task details and payments
Task providers should accurately describe scope, location, requirements, expected duration, and compensation. Workers and providers should agree on material terms, payment amount and timing, and cancellation conditions before work begins.
Unless a ShiftPe payment feature or separate agreement expressly says otherwise, payment arrangements may be made directly between users. Users should keep appropriate records. ShiftPe does not guarantee task availability, completion, or payment by another user. Nothing here excuses fraud, unlawful conduct, or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Complaints and reporting
Report suspected fraud, harassment, threats, unsafe conduct, fake postings, or policy violations to contact@shiftpe.in. ShiftPe may review reports, request information, remove content, restrict accounts, or refer matters to authorities where appropriate or required by law. Do not use this email for emergencies; contact local emergency services where necessary.
6. Platform responsibility and limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShiftPe is not responsible for independent users' conduct, statements, qualifications, task performance, private payment arrangements, or agreements with one another. ShiftPe does not guarantee that every user or task is safe, reliable, or suitable unless a particular verification or guarantee is expressly described.
Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this page excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, removes statutory rights, or excuses ShiftPe's own obligations under applicable law. Users may approach competent courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or other authorities where legally available.
7. Privacy and personal data
Depending on features used, ShiftPe may process account and profile details, contact information, skills, preferences, task applications, location information where permissions are granted, communications, and security logs. Processing should be limited to disclosed purposes and applicable legal grounds. See the Privacy Policy.
8. Account and data deletion
Users can read the process and submit a deletion request through the Account & Data Deletion page or by contacting the privacy address listed there. Requests may require verification. Data no longer needed should be deleted or anonymized, subject to applicable legal retention requirements and other lawful grounds.
9. Security and third-party services
ShiftPe should maintain reasonable safeguards appropriate to the data and risks, which may include access controls, secure authentication, protected communications, monitoring, and incident-response procedures. Third-party providers may support hosting, authentication, notifications, communications, or other features under their own terms and applicable arrangements.
10. Suspension and updates
ShiftPe may take proportionate action against suspected fraud, serious misconduct, security risks, or policy violations, subject to applicable law. Policies may be updated as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated where required.
